Education and Meetings
   

The Southampton COPD group delivers bespoke education packages to primary care. We currently deliver lectures and training on:

  • Spirometry : Within practice training on the surgeries own spirometer to delivery and interpretation of pulmonary function tests. We can help also deliver level I-IV competencies as necessary
  • COPD NICE 2010 and COPD NICE quality standards: How to deliver NICE standards of care and treatment to your patients.
  • Exacerbation management: How to prevent, treat and manage acute exacerbations of COPD.
  • Provide nurse COPD diploma modules in conjunction with Respiratory Education UK
  • GP training to achieve GPSi level status in Respiratory Medicine
